After the successful completion of the erection and start up phase, jointly carried up by Tenova LOI Italimpianti, Techint and Ternium Hylsa, the new slab reheating furnace at the Ternium steel plant in Monterrey – Hylsa was put in operation.

The SZFG SALZGITTER FLACHSTAHL GMBH has  awarded TENOVA LOI Italimpianti, the contract for engineering, fabrication, erection and commissioning of one walking beam furnace for hot strip mill in Salzgitter.

Tenova has been awarded an order relevant to the revamping of an existing melt shop of Izhstal OAO plant, located in Ishvesk, Udmur Republic (Russia). The plant is owned by Mechel, one of Russia’s leading mining and metals companies.

Tenova Strip Processing has recently been awarded two contracts by the Bulgarian company Intertrust Holding, of Botunetz, Sofia. These acquisitions are part of a Cold Mill Complex, a strategic project for Tenova Strip Processing, which also involves other Tenova Business Units.

The Techint Group announced today the acquisition from the German industrial holding VTC of Takraf GmbH, a company based in Leipzig (Germany), leader in the production of mining and bulk handling equipment.
