A further confirmation of Tenova leading edge technology in passivation field comes from China where Angang Iron & Steel, China’s second-largest steel producer, headquartered in the city of Anshan, has issued an Acceptance Certificate attesting the quality of the two passivation sections supplied by Tenova Strip Processing for the new twin galvanizing lines.

A new order has been awarded to Tenova LOI Italimpianti for the revamping of the two existing Roller Hearth furnaces in Banting Megasteel Steel Mill (Malaysia). The furnaces, supplied by Tenova in 1997, will be revamped mainly to improve the hourly production actually rated at 2.0 Mt/year and expected to reach 3.5 Mt/year.
