Tenova LOI Italimpianti has successfully received the FAC Certificate from Acroni d.o.o Jesenice, Slovenia for the revamping of the 90 tph pusher furnace. The major revamping and modernization of the furnace was the replacement of the top soaking zone with a top and bottom soaking zone as skids cooling system.

The largest operating spreader in Asia built by Tenova TAKRAF was commissioned after a test period in April this year. Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd., an Indian State Company acquired the 3,000 t machine for its Mine-II expansion project.

Tenova LOI Italimpianti has been awarded a contract by Daimler AG. A new rotary hearth furnace with zone separation for the carburizing and hardening of gears is to be supplied for the Mercedes Benz plant in Rastatt. This will be the second furnace of this type to be installed by LOI Italimpianti at this plant.
 

G Steel, a Thai Public Company Ltd, has awarded TENOVA LOI Italimpianti Genoa Office, the contract for engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of two Furnaces in the frame of its revamping at the Hot Strip Mill in Rayong, Thailand.
