In December 2007 the GTS Industries France has awarded Tenova LOI Italimpianti, the contract for engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of one Pusher Type Furnace for plate mill in Dunkerque.

Tenova Strip Processing has been awarded the first order — a new silicon steel line — for the Frydek-Mistek plant upgrade in the Czech Republic. Tenova Strip Processing has acquired an order from Valcovny Plechu, of the Arcelor-Mittal group, for the first of six operations planned as part of the project to upgrade the plant in Frydek-Mistek.

Tenova Pyromet - turnkey specialists in the design and supply of electric submerged arc furnaces and complete smelting plants for the production of ferroalloys, base metals reduction, slag cleaning and alloy production - began work on Anglo Platinum's slag cleaning furnace at the Waterval Smelter in Rustenburg in May this year.

Tenova LOI Italimpianti received a follow-up contract for the modernization of a bell-type annealing base at the cold rolling mill of Sandvik Materials Technologie in Sandviken, Sweden. LOI Italimpianti order includes the engineering, whole supply, training, supervision to erection and commissioning relevant to three new walking beam furnaces (370 tph capacity each).

The SZFG Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH has recently awarded Tenova LOI Italimpianti, the contract for engineering, fabrication, erection and commissioning of one walking beam furnace for hot strip mill in Salzgitter.
