Tenova Core has recently completed the successful start-up of a walking hearth plate heat treating furnace at Outokumpu’s stainless plant located in New Castle, Indiana.

GERDAU ACOMINAS and Tenova LOI Italimpianti signed, at the end of July last, a contract for the supply of two Walking Beam Furnaces for Slabs to be installed in the new Plate/Steckel mills of the GERDAU ACOMINAS Plant, Ouro Branco, Brazil.

Tenova Core has been contracted to design and supply two pipe heat treating furnaces as part of the major plant expansion project at V&M Star’s Youngstown, Ohio facility that will supply the booming shale gas market in the United States.

VALLOUREC & MANNESMANN TUBES Deutschland GmbH has issued the Acceptance Certificate for the pit furnace installed in Düsseldorf-Reisholz realized by TENOVA LOI Italimpianti.

Tenova LOI Italimpianti has successfully completed the start-up of a 200 metric tons/hour walking beam reheating furnace for billets in the new rolling mill at the Kaohsiung China Steel Corporation (Taiwan). 

VALLOUREC & MANNESMANN TUBES Deutschland GmbH has issued the Acceptance Certificate for the heat treatment furnace installed in Düsseldorf-Rath modernized by TENOVA LOI Italimpianti.

Tenova Core has recently been contracted to design and supply an austenitizing/tempering roller hearth furnace at SSAB’s Axis, Alabama plant.

Immediately  after the completion of a new HPH® bell-type annealing plant, the Chinese company Liuzhou Iron & Steel (Group) Co. has awarded a contract for an extension of the plant to LOI Thermprocess GmbH, a company of LOI Italimpianti Tenova.

The Chinese Tianjin No. 1 Iron & Steel Group in Tianjin has awarded a contract for the installation of an HPH® bell-type annealing plant for annealing cold-rolled steel coils to LOI Thermprocess, a company of LOI Italimpianti Tenova.

Tenova Core has recently been contracted to revamp the combustion system of the existing walking beam reheating furnace at Siam Yamato Co. Ltd’s, Maptaphut Rayong, Thailand plant.
