SCOPE OF WORK

Full turnkey delivery of engineering, supply, commissioning, assembly, start-up and process guarantee of two closed submerged arc furnaces, shed, fume aspiration and scrubbing filter system, raw materials handling, stocking and admixture, high/medium/low-voltage power systems, control and automation systems

HIGHLIGHTS

Start-up was five weeks ahead of schedule on the first furnace, and seven weeks ahead of schedule on the second. Project duration, from receipt of authorization to proceed, was 15 months for the first furnace and 16 for the second, an outstanding achievement considering the breadth and complexity of this greenfield project, the high quality and technology levels involved, and the minute attention to detail. The speed of the start-up reflects Pyromet’s expertise in delivering turnkey projects and the strength of its relationship with the customer.
