Pomini factory, based in Castellanza, Varese (Italy), is the pride of Tenova’s internal production and assembly capability. Equipped with the most advanced CNC machine tools, the workshop is mainly focused on the production of Pomini roll grinders. With over 25,000 sqm of covered area the production facility is able to meet the most demanding delivery schedules and quality requirements. Its expert and reliable workers are the real assets of the workshop that has been recognized by renowned institutions as benchmark for quality and efficiency in the production process.

All parts produced in our shop are quality controlled by means of tests carried out with the most sophisticated instruments, in order to comply with the tolerances and specifications and to meet the increasingly high quality standards requested by the customers. This department is provided with a testing room for machines in working conditions (capacity up to 500 kW), a vibrometer, a dynamic balancing machine and a noise gauge. The materials are checked with coordinates measurement systems, magnetoscopes and ultrasound testing and are also controlled through hardness and impact resistance tests.
